Hi Sainath,

I think you are misunderstood or misinformed.

There are only 6 branches offered by NIT Silchar in B.Tech.

These branches are-

1. Civil Engineering

2. CSE 

3. Electrical Engineering

4. ECE

5. Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering

6. Mechanical Engineering

Even if you check the JoSSA Round 5 cutoff, there is no mention of Mining or Metallurgical Engineering.
