If you are aiming for government college, according to your cuttoff you have less chance of government college as you know, For government college you need to score 500+ for state quota..
As you say, your son is belonging from obc You have high chance of getting government seat than other high caste..
You can try from state quota ,Might you got government college or government seat in private college
