The below given CSE branch placement details are based on the review taken by the passed out students from the respective colleges.

UIET -

Placements in our college are not much good. There are 80-90% placements for CSE and IT students. For the rest of the streams, the placements are not much good. The average package offered now is approximately 3-4 LPA, and the highest goes to 18 LPA based on your skills. Adobe, Deloitte, Infosys and Wipro are some of the companies that visit the campus. Placements are getting better year by year.

MMMUT -

Placements in this college are average. The package offered was approximately 6 lacs per annum. Lots of student from civil and electrical branches got government jobs. Students of our college have achieved 27 ranks under 100 in the IES exam. Placements for other branches are not good. The ECE branch also has good placements record. The chemical engineering students qualified for research in Delhi University.

UIET can be a better choice than the other one. Afterall it is your decision to make which college is convenient for you.

Hello there. Since both the colleges have a well maintained reputation it's seems like both are somewhat equal. But the difference comes during the social life and placements.

Considering for UIET Chandigarh, you will be living in a modern civilized and well developed city of Chandigarh and since their are lots of companies present out their, so you will get a great exposure toward the industry. Also UIET Chandigarh is somewhat related to PEC, so due to that the companies coming to the college provide a better package. Companies like Amazon, Adobe, HP and many other tech gaints comes for the placement drives. With a little bit of efforts, one can easily grab a package of around 8-10lakh.

While in case of MMMUT, the education is good but the average package is around 3-4 lakh so it's somewhere it lacks in compare with UIET Chandigarh.
