IIT Palakkad placement process is conducted by the Career Development Centre (CDC) to cater to the training/internship and placement needs of the students. Students of the institute have been placed in reputed organizations like TCS, Daikin, Timken, Titan, Wipro etc. The CDC of IIT Palakkad focuses to build a strong interface between industry and the academia for training and placement of students. Through the placement process, the Career Development Centre (CDC) initiates a continuous interaction between industries and corporate. The centre is functional under a Professor In-Charge and the training placement officer and through the placement process, IIT Palakkad helps the students to develop practical knowledge of the students. As a part of IIT Palakkads placement process, recruiters shortlist the potential candidates and conduct interviews to shortlist suitable candidates. Hence, IIT Palakkads Career Development Centre (CDC) is very active provides the best career prospects to all the students of the institute
The companies like Microsoft, Google, L&T, Rites visiting the campus. PSUs are visiting in IITs this year. Its better to get placed from IITs. 100% of the students get the internship from our college. The stipend is about Rs 14,000 to Rs. 20,000. Around, 80% of the students were placed.
