Candidate Must be Indian
Must be atleast 17 years old
there's no upper age limit
Upper age limit applies only to marine engineering which is upto 25 years.
Must be 10+2 passed with maths, physics and with any one subject of chemistry, biology, BioTech,CS as mandatory subjects
Must not be a distance academic student
Must secure atleast 45% and 40% if SC/ST
Must be a resident of wb for 10 consecutive years.
