Basically the change is possible but if you have a GPA good enough for the branch change cutoff, and there are vacancies in that branch, you can change streams at the end of first year.

How much CGPA required? You have to among toppers and there is no defined merit or CGPA officially mentioned.

And are things like attendance, merit is all considered for stream change.
