If you are asking from safety point of view, Baroda over all is one of the safest place for girls, of course no city in my view is incident free, world over. But if you are expecting something lavish then I believe only a handful of hostels are in our country

MSU being an old university, hostels are also mostly old. Do not expect home food type perhaps anywhere why just MSU.

So it depends what are your expectations. Many students get in and complete their degree, whether it's for boys or girls. Idea is your primary aim. Facilities or studies.

There are many private hostels and PGs also in every city, famous for the campus/ university. So are in Baroda.
