Hello,

Semester I usually comprises of general engineering and covers topic that are previously studied already in class 12 or during entrance exam preparations like maths chemistry and physics.So you will already have an idea about most of the topics but you can brush through them especially maths as in semester 2 usually new topics or chapters come.
