Whether you should do BDS or MBBS, it depends on your interests. However, for better job opportunities in India, MBBS degree is better (does not matter whether you do it from India or abroad - if you are doing MBBS from abroad, you will need to clear an exam to practise MBBS in India). Also, MBBS degree offers better starting salary as compared to BDS degree (I am restricting my answer to the country of India only). However the recent Ukraine crisis has created fear among the candidates who aspire to pursue MBBS from foreign countries. Hence the choice of country from where you do MBBS is also important. You have to keep in mind that you will need to stay a minimum of 5.5 - 6 years abroad till the completion of MBBS course.
