SRM Institute of Science and Technology, formerly known as SRM University, is a private deemed to be university which offers various undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) & Doctoral courses across all its campuses.

At present, SRM University has four major campuses and the courses are offered in diverse streams such as Engineering, Architecture, Health Sciences and Management. Usually, the registration process commences in the month of September every year and admission is done on the basis of different entrance tests conducted by the university. Students can apply for any of the university campuses located at Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Amravati (Andhra Pradesh) & Sikkim.

SRMJEEE is conducted by the university for admission to B.Tech and M.Tech programs.

The eligibility criteria is to have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% or appearing in 10+2 in the current academic year with PCM as major subjects in ISC, CBSE, Matriculation, NIOS or abroad.
