For admissions to NITs, you should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam or be in the top 20 percentile in the class 12th exam conducted by the your boards.

My percentage in 12 is 73. 2 and number 366 board up in 2017 than I eligible for nit according to top 20 percentile .

For U.P. BOARD OF HIGH SCHOOL & INTERMEDIATE EDUCATION, Top 20 percentile cut off marks for general category was 355 in 2017.
So, You are eligible for JEE Main to take admission in NITs/IIITs/GFTIs.
The five subjects are taken into account for calculation of percentile of qualifying examination marks for JEE (Main) are:1- Language, 2. Physics, 3. Mathematics,
4- Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject),
5- Any other subject
