Eligibility for MBA in IIT Madras : 

1. Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university with first class or 60% and above and (55% fot SC/ST) in        qualifying examination.

2. Valid score in CAT 2018 conducted by Indian Institute of Management.

3. Final year student also eligible to apply. Such candidates if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the                    condition  that they meet all the requirements for qualifying the degree before start of the program and will                  produce  provisional certificate of completion within two months of joining the program.

4. IIT graduates who have obtained a cgpa of 8 and above 10 are exempted from CAT score.

Graduates in any discipline possessing a first class division or 60 per cent marks (55 percent for SC/ST) are eligible to apply for MBA in IIT Madras. Interestingly, IIT graduates who have obtained a CGPA of 8 and above are exempted from CAT score.
