As far as I know the placements are not that good in the college with an average package of about 3 lakh per annum for CSE students(quite less compared to other colleges). According to the statistics arong 95% students get placed and the highest salary offered in CS department is 8 lakh per annum (usually from Adobe). It is a good option but if you get some other college which you think is better than this in terms of average salary and placement then you can go for that college.
As far as being Hindu is cpncerned there have been no reports of any biasness and the hindu students seem pretty happy there (as the infrastructure is good, the faculty is knowledgeable and supporting too).
If this college is your best option then you can go for it. It is good enough for a hard working student.
