It depends solely on your interest and what you are comfortable with. If you have an interest in Mathematics and programming, algorithms then Mathematics and Computing will be a better choice. If you are interested in communication and how devices work and are created, then ECE is a better branch for you. In terms of scope, both branches are very good. Mathematics and computing is more conceptual and analytical and ECE is more procedural in nature. Mathematics and computing is a newer branch as compared to ECE, but placements are good in both. If you want to study further and have research in mind, go for Mathematics and computing. If however, you want to choose safe, you can go with ECE.
