Bits pilani is always far more better than VIT.  In case of placement and infrastructure it is too good than any others. The student ratio is also high.  Basically bits is new campus that's why day by day it is upgrowing itself.
The placement coverage is also high in BITS from the last few years.
So surely you can go for it.
