Both the colleges come in top 20 NIT's of India with all the facilities provided for students.But NIT Allahabad is the older one and has good ranking as compared to NIT Patna.NIT Allahabad has great alumni spread all over the world ,with decent placement and study culture as compared to NIT Patna.But as we go branch wise then Chemical in India has less scope ,while CSE is on top with the highest packages.It depends upon your interest too,if you are passionate about then surely go for chemical Allahabad but if not sure then CSE NIT patna will be a better choice as they have also good placement in CSE .I hope it helped
