Both institutes are more or less the same in terms of their programmes. NITs are Institute of National Importance whereas GGSIP is a state university but if you wanna opt for a brand name then you should go for NIT because it will help you in terms of placements because usually good industries give the first preference to INIs and all INIs has reputed faculties and a good placement record.
