With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that though both the colleges are good in ranking , brand name and alumni network but IIIT guwahati would a better option to peruse engineering in due to great infrastructure with full maintained buildings, qualified faculities with expereince and good alumni network . The average package of the colleges i around 11 lakhs and highest went upto 32 lakhs
