Hello,

Both the colleges are among top colleges. OS has better ranking as compared to JNTU.
For mechanical engineering, placements are higher in JNTU. 65% students from mechanical engineering got placed in 2019. Top recruiting company is Tech Mahindra for mechanical branch. Average salary offered was 15 LPA considering all branches.
Whereas in OS placement opportunities for mechanical branch are better as compared to JNTU. Core companies such as ITC, Maruti and FMC.
Average salary of 5LPA was offered to mechanical branch students.
