Both IIIT Allahabad and NIT Durgapur have their own advantages.

• The total fees of CS at NIT Durgapur is 5.56 lacs and that at IIIT Allahabad is 5.4 lacs. So there is not much difference in fees.
• There are more placement opportunities at IIIT Allahabad as compared to NIT Durgapur as more companies visit the former.
• Even at the cultural front, IIIT has more fests planned than NIT Durgapur. So you can really enjoy more at IIIT Allahabad.
• However, NIT Durgapur has the tag of NIT which is advantageous in itself.
