About National Sports University, Manipur
National Sports University Manipur was established in the year 2018 to promote sports education in the fields of sports science, sports technology, sports management, physical education and sports coaching. NSU Manipur is a central university and the first of its kind. The university is under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
NSU Manipur admission currently offers programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the fields of physical education and sports management. The courses are B.P.E.S, B.Sc Sports Coaching, M.P.E.S, MA Sports Psychology and M.Sc Sports Coaching. The admission to NSU Manipur is based on merit, and 10+2 marks is also required. National Sports University has also set up a placement cell to provide assistance in jobs and other opportunities to its students in the field of sports.
National Sports University facilities offered are separate accommodation for boys and girls, a library, laboratories, sports. The college also has an auditorium, a training and placement cell, and medical facilities.
