PV Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University, Hyderabad was established in 2014. PVNRTVU Hyderabad offers 2 UG courses, 16 PG courses and 15 doctoral courses. The university imparts education in different branches of Veterinary, Animal and Fishery Sciences and undertakes research and extension of sciences to the people of the State of Telangana.
The courses offered by the university are B.Tech Dairy Technology, B.V.Sc, M.V.Sc and PhD. Admission into UG courses at PV Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University is given based on TS EAPCET scores. Seat allotment is done during the counselling process. For postgraduate and doctoral courses, admission is based on merit acquired in the qualifying exam followed by an interview process. PVNRTVU Hyderabad has a placement cell for providing employment opportunities to its final-year students.
