About Sarala Birla University, Ranchi
Sarala Birla University is a state private university located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India and established in 2017. The Sarala Birla University Act 2017 was passed by the Legislative Assembly of Jharkhand, and as per the Act, the university is managed by a Board of Governors.
SBU Ranchi offers various programmes at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in various fields of Engineering, Management, Sciences, Commerce and Business Administration. The courses at SBU Ranchi include B.Tech, BA(Hons), B.Com(Hons), BBA, B.Sc, B.Sc(Hons) and BCA at undergraduate level. While, at postgraduate level M.Tech, MA, MBA, M.Sc, M.Com and MCA programmes are offered.

Sarala Birla University (SBU) offers scholarships to eligible students to help them with their tuition fees. - In addition to the above scholarships, SBU also offers merit-based scholarships to students who have achieved exceptional academic performance in their qualifying examination and personal interview. The scholarship amount varies from 10% to 50% of the tuition fee, depending on the percentage of marks obtained. The scholarship is applicable for the first two semesters and is subject to verification of original documents at the time of counselling.
- For students enrolling in the B.Tech EEE and ECE programs, a merit scholarship of 50% on the tuition fee is available. This scholarship is subject to the same terms and conditions as the other scholarships mentioned above.
- SBU also offers internal scholarships to students who perform exceptionally well in their semester examinations. The scholarship is available to the top 20% of students and ranges from 10% to 25% of the tuition fee, depending on the ranking. This scholarship is applicable for one consecutive semester and is subject to the same terms and conditions as the other scholarships.

College Infrastructure
Sarala Birla University has a clean, green, and well-maintained campus. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with basic smart teaching facilities. The library has a good collection of books and a peaceful study environment. Laboratories are properly maintained for practical learning. Hostel facilities are satisfactory with good security, though mess food can be improved. Sports grounds and seminar halls are available, and overall infrastructure supports a comfortable learning experience.

I can say my college had good infrastructure and was upgrading time to time and do maintain proper cleaning and food hygiene, but it doesn't pack in some of the expects like not having WiFi in the campus.
