36 MonthsPh.D. programe in Social Science shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with any of the following academic qualifications from recognized Universities / Institutes are eligible to apply for the Ph.D. program of VOU.
Postgraduate in related subjects with a minimum of 55% marks in their eligibility examinations or an equivalent CGPA.
Admission Details
A valid score from any of the following tests: NET, JRF or Lectureship eligibility certificate examinations conducted by UGC or CSIR.
