Master of Business Administration (MBA) is two years full-time course offered by Indian Institute of Management, Bodh Gaya.

IIM Bodh Gaya trains the students to appreciate the challenges that the global environment poses for businesses across the world. Our Post Graduate Programme is designed to convert bright young talent into well-groomed corporate professionals who can steer the organizations through the new challenges. Under the active mentorship of IIM Calcutta, the oldest IIM in the country, our students follow a cutting-edge curriculum to keep pace with the changing business realities. As one of the new generation IIMs, IIM Bodh Gaya students have the added advantage of being exclusively taught by the faculty members from IIM Calcutta. Thus, we draw upon the world-class academic resources of our mentor-Institute to impart students with an analytical and problem-solving approach through our pedagogy with methods ranging from quantitative analytics to more qualitative and holistic case analysis.

The Post-Graduate Programme has been divided into three segments – Core Courses in the First Year; Summer internship in organizations for a period of 8 weeks; and Elective Courses in the Second Year. An academic year consists of three terms, each terms spanning across 11 to 13 weeks.

The curriculum requirements are assessed in terms of Course Credit points.

The credit structure for courses offered in IIM Bodh Gaya is as follows

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons With Disability (PWD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of the Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. However, it may be noted that such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if they submit a certificate from the Principal/Registrar of their University/Institution (issued on or before the date as stipulated by the respective IIM) stating that they have completed all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate.

Admission Details

The admission process of IIM Bodh Gaya consists of:

CAT Examination
Shortlisting Candidates for Personal Appearance (PA) process
Conducting the PA process. PA process is composed of Written Analysis Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI), and
Preparing the admission list based on CAT score, PI & WAT score and Profile score as indicated in policy.

College Infrastructure

The hostels are good and have proper study spaces, but the mess food can be average at times. Medical support is available and there is a 24x7 ambulance facility for emergencies. Sports and recreational activities are also available and there are grounds for cricket, football, badminton, and indoor games.

My overall experience is good the campus is quite good.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of this college is amazing; it gives off an aesthetic vibe and also motivates you to work hard to achieve your goals. We have libraries, sports centers, and hostels, including WiFi, laundry service, lifts, etc.

College Infrastructure

It is ok with the new buildings being constructed. Nothing too out of the ordinary. Dust is everywhere. Library is adequate. Teachers are helpful. Make a close bond with your classmates it helps immensely
