Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing is a four-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course, approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December of the admission year. The maximum age limit for admission is 35 years for Unreserved (UR), OBC, EWS, SC, and ST; however, the maximum age for candidates with Physical disabilities will be 40 years.
Candidates with Science who have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) taken together and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
Candidates are also eligible for State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS) recognized by the central government having Science subjects and English only.
English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission to B.Sc. Nursing.
5% of total marks in core subjects (PCB) in (10+2) are relaxed for SC/ST candidates. It can be 40% instead of 45% as stated above.

Admission Details

The selection of the candidates will be strictly based on the merit of the entrance examination (CET) conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and the preference of the college given by the candidate.
The result of the Entrance Test shall be available at the website of the university.
The distribution of seats in different nursing colleges and seat matrices will be displayed before counseling.
The final merit list will be prepared only for the candidates who have obtained a minimum of 50% and above marks in the entrance examination
Counseling shall be held on tentative dates as per the university's schedule.
The selection of the candidates will be subjected to medical fitness.
No selected candidates will be permitted to join the course unless declared medically fit by the Medical Board appointed by the University. The decision of the Medical Board shall be final.
The Vice-Chancellor's decision shall be final in selecting candidates for admission to the course, and no appeal shall be entertained in this regard.
