Degree Wise Admission Process
BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery): BAMS at Government Ayurved College, Vadodara, is a full-time six-year program plus internship training. The college has 60 seats dedicated to this flagship undergraduate program. Admission to BAMS is granted based on NEET scores. Candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as deciding subjects. They should also satisfy the regulatory authority minimum eligibility criteria.
MD Dravyaguna Vigyana: This postgraduate degree allows a student to learn about medicinal plants and their properties. The course MD Dravyaguna Vigyana admits students following AIAPGET. A candidate, to be eligible for this course, should have completed his BAMS degree course from any accredited institute.
MD Rasa Shastra Evam Bhaishajya Kalpana: Ayurvedic pharmaceutics and the study of medicinal processing represent this postgraduate course. Admission to this course follows as in MD Dravyaguna Vigyana wherein it is based on the results of AIAPGET. Only a BAMS graduate could be eligible to apply for this specialization.

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) graduate degree awarded after the study of five and a half years duration, including 1-year internship, the course offered by Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar and approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM). The admissions to the course are done through NEET counselling. So you will have to participate in NEET counselling for admissions. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct NEET 2021 counselling in the last week of October.
