Research Methodology:

Ranking Methodology: The colleges are ranked as per the cumulative score that they have received. The college that has got the maximum cumulative score will be ranked first while the college that has got least cumulative score will be ranked last.
The Hostel is managed by a warden who is a full time lecturer of the Polytechnic. Every month two students from senior class are selected on rotation basis to work as prefect and to assist in hostel management. The fee structure for the hostel is as per government norms and conditions. The monthly expenditure for mess facilities is calculated on dividing system and is borne by the inmates of the hostel. At present, there are 135 students staying in the Hostel.
The College has a Library Which is a knowledge center with a vision to serve the information needs of its students and faculty. It has a good collection of more than 20000 volumes covering all branches of Science and Engineering. The library is equipped with textbooks, reference books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, data books, etc. In addition, the library has subscribed to 8 newspapers and 10 magazines to meet the general requirements of its users. The library also has seating arrangements for its users to read books and prepare notes.
The college has sports facilities for all students.
The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. Canteen is at the college campus, which offers breakfast and lunch service. The breakfast menu includes Idali, Vada, Dosa, Tea, Coffee and so on. Lunch includes South Indian meals. The popular hangout for students with soft drinks, fresh juices, ice cream etc.
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Govt. CPC Polytechnic has produced many engineers, academicians and technicians who have contributed immensely to the industry both in India and abroad. A group of those alumni took an initiative to establish the Alumni Association in the year 1996. The Alumni Association aims at connecting alumni of the Polytechnic across various branches, batches and interests and provides them with a platform to interact.
