GVC College of Education, Vellore also known as GVC college was established in 2007 Vellore District of Tamil Nadu state of India is affiliated college. The 270 Co-educational institution is affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) which maintains the quality of institutions concerned with the teacher education. The college occupies a limited space of 1.4826 acres, creating a niche learning atmosphere ideal for students planning to teach. This College has 183 students currently enroled while the faculty consists of 12 members Hence making the student to teacher ratio quite reasonable.

GVC College of Education has a number of facilities that are meant to improve on students learning and development. The physical facilities provide good teaching learning spaces through quality equipped teaching learning equipment. Also, a rather vast library is used as an informational resource centre which helps students gain a great deal of educational information. Academic skill development is made possible with departmental laboratories to ensure students practice what they learn in their areas of specialisation. Speaking of curricula, GVC College of Education is teaching only one programme – B.Ed in teacher education. This course is a two-year full-time course and has been approved to admit 100 students per academic year. B.Ed programme is aimed to develop qualification of the potential teachers for innovation activities in the sphere of education.
