Holy Family college of nursing Idukki was started in 2002 is an affiliated college situated in Thodupuzha East, Kerala. Recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) this institute focuses on the nursing Profession education. The establishment of the college has a total acreage of 4.75 acres with 7 courses across three degrees. The college has a student strength of 222 and a faculties strength of 23 that means the college have proper student teacher ratio. Specialisations offered by Holy Family College of Nursing include; Basic B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing in different fields and GNM.

A range of facilities are offered by the college which has various functions to enhance the learning and life of students. The school provides hostel for the students of both sexes which nurture the needs of tracing students’ comfortable dwellings from diverse provinces. A health center is provided by the campus to address the quick medical emergencies of the students. A first-rate library is available for tutorials in support of disciplinary academic endeavors; An optimal IT framework caters to current learning styles. It also has an event and seminar facility in the manner that supports an active college community, an auditorium. Further, it has formed an alumni association through which networking and student activities are conducted.

The Holy Family College of Nursing provides the following nursing courses: Currently the college offers 7 full time courses of the college offering under graduate, post graduate, diploma programmes. The flagship course the B.Sc Nursing has a capacity of taking eighty students. The Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course takes about 25 students while different M.Sc specialisations like Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatric, Community Health and Medical surgical Nursing take about 4 students each. The GNM program offers an admission to 35 students. In total, the college intakes 222 students every year to its courses offered to students throughout the year.
