KGI School of Education, Patna, was established in the year 2012. This co-educational institute sprawls over a compact 1 acre campus with the approval from National Council for Teacher Education, KGI School of Education runs two full-time courses with an enrolment of 211 students. The institution has a good student-faculty ratio with 16 faculty members.

The institute has a series of facilities for the enrichment of the learning process and general welfare of students. Admission to the B.Ed course, in particular, will be made as per the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination and on the basis of entrance examination performance. Other criteria will also be permitted in the selection process if the policy of the Bihar government and the affiliated university so dictate. The admission to the course D.El.Ed shall be based on merit, taking into account marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance test, subject to directions received from the state government/UT administration.
