KIIT College of Education, Gurgaon, was started in the year 1969. This is one of the premier educational institutions functioning to train teachers in this part of the country. This affiliated college is situated on a 3-acre campus at Maruti Kunj, Sohna Road, Gurgaon. The institute is accredited by NAAC and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi. KIIT College of Education offers two regular courses: B.Ed and M.Ed, with a total enrolment of 210 students. The faculty has 25 members; hence, an optimum student-teacher ratio is maintained. It is a co-educational institute, and it gives an opportunity for both boys and girls to have a more diverse learning environment.
The institute is committed to providing all facilities that make for an all-around experience for the student. It has separate boys' and girls' hostels that house 130 and 150 students, respectively. A well-equipped power gym is available to the students. The technological advancement at KIIT College of Education is stressed more on a modern computer laboratory equipped with the latest software. There is also a language laboratory to enhance the communication skills of the students, which is an imperative feature for any teacher.
Its major courses include the institution's Bachelor of Education, or B.Ed., and Master of Education, or M.Ed. Both these courses are full-time and would run for a period of two years each. The B.Ed course has an approved intake of 100 seats, whereas the M.Ed course offers 50 seats.

Admission to KIIT College of Education is strictly based on merit, with marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination, as per the policy prescribed by the state government and the university. The eligibility criteria for the course of B.Ed. are that candidates should have passed their graduation. For the M.Ed. course, they have to pass the master's degree after graduation. If a candidate possesses both degrees, then the higher percentage of marks from any of the two degrees shall be considered for computing the merit list.
