Kirorimal College of Education, Sonepat was established in 2007 as a premiere educational institution. Co-educational Day College, Khewra, Sonepat, Haryana, it is affiliated to State University and partly approved by National Council for Teacher Education  also. KMCE sprawls over a 2-acre campus and offers a total of 7 courses across 4 types of degree programs for teacher education. It is a college that admits 466 students and is fully supported by its 39 faculty members. Starting from B.Ed to M.Ed, integrated B.Ed-M.Ed, and a host of dual degree options of education with arts, science, and commerce-the gamut of programs run at KMCE.

Supporting the academic efforts is the list of modern facilities in the college. The Psychological Resource Centre is equipped with a good number of individual and group tests. Similarly, ICT Resource Centre is fully equipped with the latest equipment and computers with the facility base of the internet. Equipped with experiment-specific equipment, the Science and Mathematics Resource Centre went into action, whereas the well-fitted computer laboratory helped students get firsthand experience with the available most recent application software and technologies.

KMCE offers all types of courses related to education. In the college, 7 full-time courses are available like B.Ed, M.Ed, D.El.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed, BA B.Ed and B.Com B.Ed. For all courses, the total approved intake for students is 750. Most of the courses select students for admission to the college based on merit. For most courses, admission to the college is based on merit at the college level. Admission to the combined B.Ed M.Ed course will be carried out in conformity with the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination as per norms of the State Government or UT Administration.
