Kissan College of Education, VPO Meham, Dist. Rohtak, was the top-rated college of teacher education established in the year 2006. It is a co-educational constituent college affiliated occupies a compact 2.25-acre campus area and runs two specialised courses in education with a total student enrolment of 435. That is, the faculty strength is 23 members which provide personal attention and quality education. 

Kissan College of Education offers diverse facilities to the students to make their experience comfortable and support their academic journey. A well-stocked library with approximately 6,500 books, periodicals, journals, and newspapers provides a vast amount of knowledge at their doorstep. The medical facility is run by a full-time nurse and a qualified medical officer to address the health issues and general well-being of the students. A full-time counselor is provided for guiding students through all their psychological problems. A fully equipped computer lab, complete with the latest in multimedia and audiovisual facilities, allows us to keep pace with contemporary modes and methods of instruction. There is a seminar hall capable of holding over 125 students where academic and cultural activities are carried out. 

Kissan College of Education runs two full-time courses in education, which compose its agenda and activity areas of teacher training. A college runs a B.Ed programme and a D.El.Ed course. The same vision concerning need-based upliftment of students with the required competencies and knowledge base for excelling in the field of effective teaching is shared. 

Admissions at Kissan College of Education are transparent and fair. For the B.Ed programme, admission is based on merit, which is determined by the marks in the qualifying examination conducted by various universities located in Haryana such as M.D.U, K.U.K, C.D.L.U, Sirsa, or BPS Mahila Vishva Vidyalaya. Admission to D.El.Ed is purely on a merit basis, with marks in the qualifying examination, and entrance examination if conducted by the State Government or UT administration.
