Meera Memorial Mahila Mahavidyalaya Ballia was established in the year 2014 and situated in the Pandeypur Ballia District of Uttar Pradesh, affiliated to the Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology Gorakhpur at Ballia. This is a women's college with an area of 3 acres on campus, which is intended to offer a good standard of education to female students. The institute is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which is an assertion of mission on quality educational standards. The college has 262 students currently, and the faculty includes 23 members, thus providing an individual academic environment with low SHR. 

This college has made provision for several facilities to be in place to complement the college educational system. Every academic library must also be adequately equipped with supplies that are used when completing academic tasks. Among the facilities the institution has, it has departmental laboratories that help in practical learning and practical experience. Meera Memorial Mahila Mahavidyalaya offers two full-time courses: a three-year years programme leading to the award of a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a two-year years programme leading to the award of a Bachelor of Education (B.ED). These courses are most suitable for humanities students and or persons who wish to be employed as teachers.

Meera Memorial Mahila Mahavidyalaya admission procedure is slightly different for different courses. In respect of the B.Ed. programme, it is done through merit regarding the marks secured in the qualifying examination as well as the entrance examination wherever conducted. Admissions to the college are done as per the norms decreed by the state government and the affiliated university.
