Jananayak Chandrashekhar University (JNCU), Ballia was established in 2016 by the Government of Utter Pradesh. This is a state university. A total of 122 colleges are affiliated to the JNCU.

Computer Centre: The computer centre of the JNCU maintains and manages campus networking and internet facility. It provides both wired and WiFi connectivity to students and staff. Sports facilities: The JNCU University campus has indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Indoor games like carrom, table tennis, chess are available for the students. The college has a well-furnished football field and cricket fields. It also has a hockey field, handball, volleyball and badminton court. Tournaments in these sports are organised in the institute at the university level.
Wi-Fi: The University has provided the Wi-fi services at the campus and students and staff can use it for the academic purpose.
Laboratory: The University has a well-equipped laboratory. It is providing extensive and contemporary facilities for science teaching and research.
Seminar Hall: The hall is equipped with the latest teaching aids like LCD projector, slide projector and overhead projector. The hall is used for conducting guest lectures, symposiums and seminars.
