R. Muddurangegowda College of Education, Sira, has acquired its reputation as the teacher-education college of Karnataka. The merit-based admission process is based on state and university norms. The admission process selects for excellence in the prospective teacher.

The college conducts B. Ed program with the duration of two years and is full-time with an official intake of 100 students. Admission is imputed on the basis for the determining eligibility examination score obtained by the candidate or entrance tests and any other selection method as specified by policies of the state government and university.
