As an MBA Dual student in Corporate Finance & Business Analytics, my experience at GLA has been a mixed but largely positive one. The faculty in the finance and analytics electives are genuinely industry-aware — several bring real consulting or corporate backgrounds, which shows in case discussions rather than just theory-heavy lectures. The curriculum balances core finance with applied analytics tools, which has been useful for building a practical skill set rather than just bookish knowledge. Infrastructure-wise, the campus is well-equipped — labs, library resources, and Wi-Fi access make self-study manageable. The placement cell is active and brings in a decent spread of recruiters, though outcomes vary a lot by specialization; finance and analytics roles are less abundant than core engineering placements, so students in management streams often have to be more proactive with networking and internships.

Honestly, placements at GLA are a mixed bag, and it really depends on which stream you're in. The T&P cell does put in effort — they run resume workshops, mock interviews, aptitude prep, and manage to pull in a good number of companies each year, including some big names like Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, and TCS. So on paper, it looks solid. But if you're from the MBA or finance/analytics side like me, the reality is a bit different. Most of the heavy hitters coming to campus are hiring for engineering and tech roles, not finance or core management positions. So while my juniors in CS are landing solid offers, the options for someone chasing IB, equity research, or business analyst roles are noticeably thinner. The average package numbers you see quoted are usually pulled up by the engineering batch — management placements tend to sit lower.

The teacher of this University are old fashion they just focus of theory no practical exposure and the course is not as per the industry and the attandance criteria is very strict 75% is mandatory for us.

The avera Placement is 4 Lpa and the company come here are not soo good they first offer training period for 6 months and then offfer ppo and their is only sales company came here . The quality of placement is very poor.

If youll take science streams in this university its really good. Lab and all the necessary stuffs are provided. The academics are to be considered, but as im from arts background, i still think delhi university is better.

No comments about the placement cause i dont really know about this. But I hope your cgp and sgp will be enough to crack placement. Tbh many people in this uni just takes job from the university only, like assistant professors and professors. So the phd students gets placements ig. But in my case its like ill have to crack gov exams, so I dont really care about the uni's placement. So my friends from different BG like commerce, english, and chemistry.

Good. Friendly environment. The nature here keeps me calm when ive to run here and there, from class to hostel to COE for classes or any official works, like the 1st yr for me was so hectic, cause I had to run 20 to 25 times, to get one sign from the COE office during ishan uday scholarship and worst part i didnt know anyone at first and nobody was even eligible for the scholarship, both economical and marks wise. So It was hectic and stressing. I toh even cried while coming back from COE office in my cycle in the afternoon as they told me the officials where gone to vacation after the 5th time ????????????

Its a good university, with people from different areas and cultural where they come together and study. Teachers are chill too, but attendance sheet and discipline is taken very seriously.

Tulas university is large collage in which 2 library are their one is reference and other one is library for law student. My collage has total 4 hostel in side the campus all the hostel student provide mess facility. This collage has pool and large ground with new law building.

I’m doing btech from Tulas university because Tulas has great engineering record and Tulas offer various specialisation like data science, AI , core etc. My collage has good labs and computer center so that student can understand concept easily and teacher are very good and knowledgeable .
Placements
Tulas is become now university so most of the student easily get placement and every year lots of student get offer letter. The average salary of a btech student is 3-6 LPA. And this class is also provide good placement offer to management student.

We are having average placements. Our highest package was of this year is 8LPA . Companies like infosys, cognizant are coming to our college they conduct 3rounds after we have joining letter. They train you for the placement

I study in St Xavier's College Burdwan which is affiliated under burdwan university. It does not have all the infrastructure and all the lab requirements. I am from biotechnology department and half of the lab materials do not work.

The academics are okay okay. Some teachers teach very good but some don't. But the syllabus gets repeated. If you want to continue to study further in masters and all then you can study here but you have to study more than what is taught in college.

Placements ? There are no placements in here. For BBA maybe there is some but not for any other department, there is nothing. The placement cell is of no use as it neither provides neither helps in placement. I have zero clue about the average salary.

College infrastructure is quite decent,hostel are not good ,not maintained but college is okay And teaching skills are also good,patient flow is fine,there are quite a good amount of dental chairs available in the college,there are water coolers available on each floor in college and in hostel,though they sometimes don't work,mess food is not good,the hostel needs maintaince badly,the labs are okay okay,the college campus is fine,it has trees,there are three to four grounds,the classrooms have projector,there is ac in each lecture theatre,the examinations take place strictly under guidance and invigilence,in short it's okay okay not so bad not so good

I'm in dental school,it requires your hand skills nd academic skills both,the quality of teaching is quite okay,but in medical colleges mostly you have to study by your own, no one will spoon feed you the chapters,the hand skills you have to acquire for the future,you have to bring 50 percent marks for passing in theory as well as viva,u have to be good in your practicals
