For doctoral research, the chemistry department offers basic research facilities. Laboratories are available for experimental work, though advanced instruments are limited and often shared. Research scholars mostly depend on careful planning and guidance. The central library is useful for journals, reference books, and previous research work. The large green campus provides a quiet and focused environment suitable for long research hours.
Research guidance depends a lot on the supervisor. Guides are experienced and help scholars with topic selection, research direction, and publications. Coursework and seminars help in building research understanding. Scholars are expected to work independently and read extensively. Academic atmosphere supports serious research, especially for students aiming for teaching or research careers.
There are no direct placements for PhD scholars. Most students aim for academic positions, post-doctoral research, or competitive exams. Some move into teaching, research labs, or higher research roles after completion. Career growth mainly depends on publications, research quality, and personal effort rather than university placement support.
Campus life for research scholars is calm and independent. The peaceful surroundings support long study and lab hours. Hostels provide simple living, and interaction with scholars from different disciplines adds learning experience. Seminars and academic discussions happen occasionally. Overall campus life suits focused and self-motivated researchers.
The campus is clean and well maintained, though some parts look a bit old. Classrooms are spacious but not all of them have proper smart boards or projectors. The library is good and has enough books for students, but during exams it becomes very crowded. The canteen area is nice but seating space is less. Washrooms are okay but sometimes not properly maintained. Overall the infrastructure is average, not very modern but workable for students.
Most of the teachers are helpful and well qualified, though some classes can feel a bit boring. The syllabus is followed properly but sometimes it feels too theory based. Exams and internal assessments are taken seriously, which helps students stay regular. However, there is a lot of pressure during exam time. Overall, academics are strong but could be more practical and interactive.
Some good companies do come, but not everyone gets placed. Mostly students from commerce and economics background get better opportunities. The placement cell is active but information is sometimes not shared properly. Many students prefer to go for higher studies instead of placements. Overall, placements are okay but not very impressive.
Infrastructure is very unique and different from other college with its beautiful surroundings college has modern and well-equipped campus with functional academic buildings, smart classrooms and labs that support day-to-day learning many students mention that the campus has good Wi-Fi connectivity, a library with essential resources, and separate hostels for boys and girls.and gym facility .
faculty members are experienced, friendly and helpful, contributing for the better understanding of subjects and also give support outside the classroom the curriculum covers a range of programmes like engineering, management, pharmacy, law, sciences and more/ provide more practical knowledge in labs.
placement percentages can vary by programme and student performance placement cell is very helpful they conduct various program cell recruitement drives for preparing students for interview average package for this college is 7 to 8 LPA .but for pharmacy department campus placement is not very good companies offer very low package and much companies do not visit for placement .

As it is not private infra is not that good but it is still maintained comparing with other state level university. Its library is good with lacks of books but it stays full and its hard to get seat. Its lacks good wifi access in department. Also hostels are very old so they are in bad condition
I am a CS undergrad and teachers are decent for 1st year I have not experienced CS department teachers but physics, math teachers are good. For other state students it maybe a little issue that some teachers teach in punjabi but this is manageable. Also in CS only student intake is high there are 120 students in a section if you sit behind then you can't hear or see the board. College is semi-govt. so curriculum is good and it has many holidays which gives time for side hustle.
As a first year I can't tell much about placements but they are still decent. It is competitious but I you have worked hard you will end up getting job from campus placements only you can't expect good jobs but its still better than tier 3 private colleges with very high intake. But no good company visits campus that placements are rare and all off campus
I am not interested much in campus fests but students and societies try to do organise events. If you want a good college life with concerts and all you must consider private colleges. Rest campus is very big and its okay
Outsiders you lack punjani knowledge may feel hard to communicate but people here are decent and you will not feel alienated but still it can be a con.
The infrastructure of the college is decent but could be better. Classrooms are simple, some are a bit old and need repair. Labs have basic equipment, sometimes not enough for everyone. Library is small, seating is limited, and books are not always updated. Canteen and washrooms need more cleanliness. Overall, functional but not great.
Some professors are helpful, but many just follow the syllabus without much explanation. Study material is okay, nothing special. Exams are mostly theory-based and a bit tough if you don’t prepare. Overall, you can learn, but don’t expect anything extraordinary or highly interactive.
Placement opportunities are okay, not amazing. Few IT and service companies visit every year. Salary packages are mostly average. College does some training and workshops, but real success depends on your own skills. If you work hard, you can get a decent job, otherwise it’s hit or miss.
Campus life is simple and average. Mess food is okay, hostel rooms are basic, and Wi-Fi can be slow. Teachers are supportive sometimes, but not very engaging. Sports and events happen occasionally, but not too grand. Friendships and small hangouts make college bearable. Overall, it’s a normal, no-frills experience good enough.
College infrastructure is really good and feels comfortable for daily use. Classrooms are big, clean, and have proper benches, fans, and projectors. Labs are well equipped and mostly functional for practical learning. Library has enough books, seating space, and a calm environment. Washrooms are maintained, campus is clean, and WiFi works fine. Overall infrastructure supports studies well.
Most professors are knowledgeable and explain topics in a simple way. Classes are regular, syllabus is usually finished on time, and exams are well structured. You may need self-study for deep understanding, but if you attend lectures and put effort, learning here is genuinely good and useful
Placements here are above average compared to many colleges. Good number of companies visit the campus and most students get at least one offer. Salary packages are decent, not unrealistic. Placement cell keeps informing students and conducts practice tests. Results mainly depend on your skills and effort.
Campus life is pretty good. Teachers are approachable, and academics are fair. There’s a decent vibe on campus with some events and clubs to join, though not very active. Cafeteria food is okay, hostel facilities are decent. You get enough space to relax or study. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to spend your college years without too much hassle.
College infrastructure is average, not very modern but usable. Classrooms are okay with basic benches and boards. Library has enough books but seating is limited. Labs work fine but equipment is old. Campus is clean but small. No fancy buildings, just simple facilities that get the work done. Overall manageable for regular college life.
Academics are decent but nothing special. Classes happen regularly, but teaching quality depends on the teacher. Most focus on theory and completing the syllabus before exams. Notes are helpful for passing, but you need self-study for real understanding. Practical learning and industry exposure are limited. Good enough for an average student
Placements are decent but don’t expect big packages. Mostly mass recruiters visit and offer entry-level jobs. Only a few students get better offers, rest depend on their own skills. College arranges placement drives and basic training, but opportunities are limited. If you work hard and upskill yourself, you can get placed, otherwise it’s average overall.
Campus is simple and calm. Facilities are just enough. Classrooms are fine, labs need improvement. Library has limited resources. Mess food is average and repetitive. Hostel living is okay but maintenance is weak. Few student events. Teachers are supportive. Overall experience is decent but basic.
The campus is clean overall, and washroom facilities are available, though regular maintenance is required. The canteen serves affordable food, but the variety is limited. Sports facilities exist, but equipment
The teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, but the teaching methods are mostly traditional. Interactive learning, practical exposure, and the use of digital tools could be improved. Some of faculties are very good
The placement cell is active and provides basic support like resume preparation, mock interviews, and career guidance, but more training sessions and industry interaction are needed. Internships are available

The campus offers a smooth academic routine for BCA students. Computer centers are arranged to support continuous practice, and classrooms are maintained to ensure a focused study atmosphere. Study areas and reference resources contribute positively to daily learning needs.
The program is designed to help students understand how technology is applied in real-life systems. Instead of focusing only on theory, the course encourages logical reasoning, coding practice, and application-based learning. Semester tasks and projects play an important role in strengthening technical confidence.
Recruitment drives mainly focus on entry-level positions that help students gain initial industry exposure. The placement cell supports students through resume-building sessions and interview guidance. While salary packages are moderate, students who consistently work on technical skills, internships, and online certifications often secure better opportunities, both on and off campus.

The campus is not well-maintained. Roads and pathways are uneven, and there is very little greenery. Canteen is small and unhygienic. Sports facilities are almost not exist and computer labs have old machines that slow down work. No proper parking space. Overall, the infrastructure feels neglected and not supportive for students’ daily needs.
Professors mostly just read from slides, and there’s very little practical learning. Some teachers try to help, but overall guidance is weak. Syllabus is outdated, and assignments feel repetitive. Hard to stay motivated when classes are boring and resources are limited. Not much scope to learn beyond basics.
College placement is poor. Only small companies come here and very few students get selected. No proper guidance or training. Everything depends on your own efforts. If you’re hoping for big IT or core jobs, this college won’t help much.
Campus life is really dull most of the time. Not many activities or events, so weekends feel boring. The hostel and mess are just average, nothing great. Wi-Fi and facilities are often unreliable.
