the campus looks just like foreign universities by its proper maintained buildings and management with great opportunities and well furnished materials. The environment is green and clean and well maintained.

Academics is moderate as per my point of view and also faculties are good in nature but they force for the completion for attendance criteria. More practical exposure is needed for BBA students to upgrade themselves.

Placement and training cell is also average in management block as more preference is given to sales people and also as per senior feedback sessions are needed to be improved as per new techniques and knowledge.

I'm a first year student here but according to the data I've seen of the placements, the highest salary placements are very rare and on average people get 2-3 lac annual placement which is fin for a bachelor degree but needs improvement if it's a master degree

The campus life is decent but it is quite hard to find places to sit and relax, the guards and bouncers are very strict you can't leave the campus early without permission. The hostel life has even more restriction especially for girls.

This college is getting more and more strict day-by-day which kinda make sense because of the behaviour of a certain crowd of the college but the consequences are being beared by the innocent ones too. They've recently created a parent's whatsapp group which I think is totally unfair and promotes parent's interfere in child's career choices, ofcourse there are exceptions so no comments on that.

The best hostels are here with good food and facilities. It is within the campus, and students enjoy their lives here. The hostel canteens are very good, and the very famous medical facilities are also good, as they have their own hospital nearby. Wi-Fi is good, and the labs are very advanced.

All the odd semesters are mostly tough as far as I'm concerned. Teachers are good, very helpful, and very cooperative (if you are an enthusiastic person). It is as if you ask the teachers, they help, they don't spoon-feed. Courses are relevant, also very good courses, not only teach you core subjects, but they also teach you life.
Placements
Around 70 percent people get placed. 38 LPA is the highest, and 11 LPA is the average, which these college placements provide. Almost all the companies come, 60-70% people get internships in their 5th sem which is the 3rd year of engineering, SDE, and many other roles are offered, and it is worth it.

We have a library, studio, seminar hall, moot court, flip classroom, auditorium and many more facilities. The quality of food in the hostel is quite decent and tasty. The canteen offers a variety of food. The medical facilities are excellent in DME. We also have an indoor sports room which offers table tennis, carrom, major board games.

Studying journalism in DME has been a quality experience throughout my journey so far. The teachers are really helpful in clearing doubts and providing self made notes. The teaching quality is top notch with clear explanations. The curriculum is very relevant to prepare the students for the industry. The semester exams are mediocre level difficulty with 40% pass percentage.
Placements
About 80% students are placed through DME with a package of 5 LPA to 7 LPA on an average which is quite decent for a fresher entering the industry. The top recruiting are for placements are Bharat Express, PR Guru, Amar Ujala, Dynamite News. Over 90% of the students were placed for internships in Amar Ujala, PR Guru, Aaj Tak, ABP News and Doordarshan. Top roles offered are journalist, content writer, anchor, film maker, and back end roles like video editor, graphic designer and many more.

DME offers a variety of events and fests which includes diwali fest, our annual cultural fest ALOHA, our department fest MEDIA FEST - VRITIKA, the law fest COSMOS and much more. The first three toppers gets offered with scholarship and medal. The crowd is very welcoming and includes all kinds of people.

I also got the on campus placement from this college in Oracle , I'm a CSE students. Every year a lot of companies visits the lnct and hired a large number of students every year. 1.12 crore per annum is the highest package, it's indeed off campus but the college provided a lot of help and platform to crack that package.

A course that's not considered very job-worthy, MCA, is the course that i opted for. I am happy I took this step with PIET. No, I am not saying under any pressure or because it's my alma mater. My final year projects was based on ML models for healthcare prediction, and I aced it.

I have heard the highest package goes upto INR 18 LPA. Most if us (my friends and I) have offers from big MNCs ranging from 5-7 LPA. We find it good value for money and are happy to be placed after an MCA degree. Thanks to PIET for that! I guess it also depends on the effort you as a student are ready to put in and the more effort you will put, the more fruitful it becomes for you.

Absolutely happening. One day a fest, the other day comes with hackathons, and the third would provide some sports opportunities. the fests are an amazing time to meet students across cultures and learn about their ideologies. I have made friends who have made these 3 years amazing for me. The canteen is the usual place for evening meetings where friendships are deepend over yummy food. A sandwich from the canteen is my go-to thing every evening. It's a plate of nostalgia for me. If on campus, you should definitely give it a try.
