They have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities All the classrooms, lab, library are well maintained Also the living spaces and food are hygienic .......................................
Quality of teaching is good It makes us job ready Quality of education is very good They are not only book oriented but also more than that Curriculum is updated and includes recent developments...
Quality of placements is good Atleast 50% of students are placed Average salary offered is 5-6 lpa Highest salary offered is 12lpa Placement process is also very easy and smooth College is also supportive
Campus life is ok....could have been better....The union should be abolished Teachers are well behaved....
The college infrastructure is well maintained with spacious classrooms, modern labs, a peaceful library, clean campus, and good facilities that create a comfortable and effective learning environment.
The college placement cell is supportive and well organized, offering training, guidance, and opportunities with reputed companies, helping students gain confidence and secure jobs. although academics are tough
The college offers good value for money with affordable fees, quality education, supportive faculty, decent infrastructure, and placement assistance that justify the overall cost. good companies like vipro
Overall, the college provides a balanced and enriching experience with good academics, supportive faculty, decent infrastructure, active campus life, and helpful placement guidance. The environment encourages learning, personal growth, and skill development, making it a worthwhile choice for students seeking quality education at an affordable cost.
The college offers good value for money with affordable fees, quality education, supportive faculty, decent infrastructure, and placement assistance that justify the overall cost.
The infrastructure at the East Campus (Vivek Vihar) is modern but compact. The best part is that the entire academic block, including classrooms and the library, is fully air-conditioned, which is a lifesaver in Delhi summers and something even North Campus colleges often lack. The library is state-of-the-art with a great collection of Economics and business books. The computer labs are well-equipped with software like SPSS and R for our labs. However, you must know that this is not the main Bawana campus. The campus is small (about 2 acres). We do not have vast playgrounds; sports facilities are limited to a small basketball/volleyball court and indoor games like TT and Carrom. Crucial Note on Hostels: There are NO on-campus hostels at the East Campus. Most of us live in PGs or flats in Vivek Vihar, Karkardooma, or Dilshad Garden. The mess food is irrelevant since there is no hostel mess, but the campus canteen is decent and hygienic.
Academics is the strongest suit of USME (East Campus). The curriculum is rigorous and updated as per the NEP (4-year degree), comparable to top DU colleges like SRCC or Stephens. The faculty is highly qualified, with many professors being alumni of DSE (Delhi School of Economics) and IIMs. They are approachable and focus heavily on research and practical application rather than rote learning. The Economics Hons course here includes a good mix of Mathematics, Statistics, and Econometrics, making you job-ready for analyst roles. Attendance rules are strictly followed (75% is mandatory), and the workload is significant with regular assignments and presentations.
Placements for Economics and BBA students are decent and improving every year. Since we are under the DTU umbrella, we get a good brand value. The Placement Cell is active and student-driven. Stats: The average package for Eco Hons hovers around 4.5 LPA to 6 LPA, with the highest going up to 10-14 LPA. Roles: Mostly Analyst roles, Research Associates, and Consulting. Companies: Companies like ZS Associates, KPMG, Bain Capability Network, and other analytics firms visit. While it doesn't match the B.Tech placements of the main campus, it offers a solid ROI compared to private universities. If you build good skills in Excel and R, getting placed is not difficult.
This is where you need to manage expectations. The campus vibe is very different from the Main Campus. Because the campus is small, it feels a bit like a school extension. Everyone knows everyone, which is nice, but you miss out on the massive "fests" and sprawling campus life unless you travel to the Main Campus in Bawana for events like Engifest. Crowd: The crowd is decent, mostly serious about their careers. Location: Vivek Vihar is a residential area. It's safe and well-connected by the Blue Line (Karkardooma) and Red Line (Mansarovar Park) metros. Societies: There are active societies like Finance, Debating, and Cultural clubs, but events are on a smaller scale.
Excellent Academics and Faculty in a Compact Campus- If you want a serious academic environment with top-tier faculty and don't mind missing out on a huge campus life, DTU East Campus is a fantastic choice. It is perfect for students who want to focus on their studies and secure a good analyst job. Just be prepared to hunt for a PG nearby as there are no hostels.
As Goenka college is a very older build college in north kolkata.. is has its own charm in its walls... it has a vintage library at 4th floor. the college have 2 separate buildings..one for academic and other for administrative. the class rooms have smart boards making it a digital class room.. washroom and Commons rooms are neat and clean. Overall it is a well maintained college.
I'm pursuing B.com(h) and want to do MBA in future. This the most reputed college in kolkata for commerce. Top class university professors are appointed for us.The professors are updated and developed with all the current requirements and we have a very strong placement cell in our college.
Our placement cell is very strong and efficient and maximum number of students get placed in well reputed companies. B.com student get 3 lakhs Lpa and M.com students get 5 lakhsLpa. The process of the placement is very moderate and depends on the recruiting team.
We have great campus life as the environment in our class rooms is very growth full and worthy. students students and other stuffs shares a very friendly relationship among them.
Just want to add a little bit participation in sports by my college.
Yess very good infrastructure .auditorium , canteen and everything is good a good food lounge. Neat class rooms .A proper lab of science, maths, english, computer science labs with all required electronics.
Good faculty and proper explanation of all topics .good lecturers who clearly explains all the chapters .well and scheduled exams from affiliated college i.e,Osmania university. All the updated topics with proper textbooks written by best authors
Still we are in first year but as far as I've heard my college provide good campus placements from big companies like vipro , Mahindra and etc .The proper qualified and deserved students are sure to get good placements
Im having a very good campus life. Many events are being taken place in the campus and no one is forced to join in them .college faculty encourage us to take freely and helps to remove the stage fear that we all have
The academic atmosphere of the college is well-structured and supportive. The faculty members are knowledgeable, experienced, and approachable. They explain concepts clearly and are always willing to help students with doubts, assignments, and exam preparation. Regular lectures, practical sessions, seminars, and workshop help students understand both theoretical and practical aspects of their subjects. The evaluation system is fair, and continuous assessments motivate students to be consistent
This College has well lit classrooms and computer labs with internet. It has labs for Zoology,Botany,Chemistry etc.It has all sports equipment’s.It has a playground and a hostel for a capacity of forty two students. It has a multipurpose air conditioned auditorium. It has WiFi for students.
It’s academics are very good. Here the professors explain very well. They teach us with practical examples in class. They always discuss real life topics so that we can relate with the concepts. The question are average. They suggest questions that can come in the exam and we get common.
The professor guides us for getting ready for new job opportunities. They helps us with aptitude and reasoning that come in Government job exam and corporate job exams. They help us to connect with corporate world to the students with who wanna do corporate jobs. The professors are very helpful for us.
We had a great time in our college along with our friends we used to talk with our friends and share educational and real life experience with our friends. We talked with our friends before and after the class. In freshers the college offered us packets that contained sandwich cake and sweets.
I will say all the best to the brothers and sisters who will take admission in this college.I will recommend them to study with hurt and enjoy the college life
The class rooms are great and the ambience is good for studying. Plenty of space in the class so that the students feel ease and the benches, chair, table, black board in the class is well maintained.
The faculty is excellent, the classes are on time and the teachers are very friendly and help a lot during exam preparations. They help with hand written notes as well before internals and semesters.
There are few internship opportunities for the students and the college insist to take them. Plenty of students have landed in a job such as in article writing, accounting, mass communication and others.
Vibrant campus.
The infrastructure of saint xaviers is not very modern but more of heritage. The college itself is very much concern regarding the purpose of maintaining it's heritage and prestige alive. This is the reason you won't find modernized benches or greenboards in our college. However the college consists of all the necessities which a student would always require i.e. Digital board, clean washroom, water filter, a big playground and most importantly the Library
As the college is known for it's discipline, Saint Xaviers will never disappoint you by its academics. The teachers here are very punctual, disciplined and knowledgeable too. Being a Bcom student, the curriculum of Xaviers is bit challenging in 2nd year (if you are doing a professional course along with it). But once done it will definitely add a lot to your knowledge.
Being a 1st year student I do not have any good amout of knowledge regarding placement. Referring to seniors, College holds prestige and great respect throughout India (a bit more in West Bengal, Northeast and Eastern part of India). Thus you may expect mid to high level placement from this college. However go for the advice of pass out students regarding this.
To be honest, the college will never do justice to your college life. Inspite of its great heritage, Xaviers will disappoint u a bit as a student (specially as a fresher) as the campus life is bit OK and it will give a School type vibe rather than that of a college.
Don't expert College life from this college. Doing a professional course along with the curriculum of Xaviers is bit challenging. Specially when you are not capable of doing 2 things at once.
the infrastructure of my college is excellent . we have every thing in our campus . good library , play ground , activity area and lots of things to do . we also have cafe where student relax and chill after classes
we are studying every thing regarding management . and also about the research in the management . course structure is well maintain and every class gives us new experience with practical knowledge . studying and extra curriculum is outstanding
placement is good not the best in respect to m.b.a student . in my collage b tech and m tech get better placement but management student get normal placed . i am not satisfied with the placement of my collage
in campus there is lots of activities to do . i really enjoying my campus life . like we have lots of events . we have lots of games to play . we freely hang out with other student . we participate in many activities
college does not have all the necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipment . class room is average not so advance . there no cafe\cantion inside the college and its kind of old school type collaage
academics is good . but there is no such time table for class and teaching is good but not so regular . there is playground but not maintain properly . no curriculum and events such follows in the collage and eve
for bsc there is no placement from collage . there is no placement cell and no company come for the placement . its only a collage where you got the admission . placement is myth in this collage placement is deadend
campus of the collage is average . no events but surrounding is good you can enjoy your collage life there make good friends and just play games no club there but you are okey with the campus if you dont have any expectation
the college infrastructure is extremely poor and disappointing. most classrooms are poorly maintained. lack basic facilities like proper sitting and ventilation, and functional boards. lab is outdated
the academic quality is very poor, teaching methods are outdated, poor explanation and lack in practical work. classes are irregular and syllabus is rushed at end of semester; there is very little academic guidance
no placements from college side, there is no placement cell and no skill training even they lack in basic lab work which is essential. total waste of 3 year nothing to get there .ony you can get these 5-7 thousand jobs at companies which need labor
so best of college is cricket ground and sport staff like we play a lot of cricket and doing NSS activities prepared food in college, students are good and also behavior of teaching staff is also nice
The college provides adequate infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, and a good library. Wi-Fi and smart boards are available and properly maintained. Hostels and living spaces are clean, and the food served is hygienic. Overall, the campus offers a comfortable and supportive learning environment.
I am studying this course to build a strong foundation in my field. The quality of teaching is good, with supportive and knowledgeable faculty. The curriculum is mostly updated and includes recent developments, helping students gain practical knowledge and become reasonably job-ready for future career opportunities.
The placement quality is satisfactory, with several companies visiting the campus each year. A fair percentage of students get placed, mainly from core courses. The average salary package is reasonable. The placement process is smooth, and the college provides good support through training, guidance, and interview preparation.
Campus life is vibrant and engaging, with a positive learning environment. The campus is clean, safe, and well-maintained. Students can participate in cultural events, seminars, sports, and academic activities. Teachers and staff are supportive, making campus life enjoyable and motivating.”
Our college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment are all used and well maintained. It gives a peaceful environment feel both for enjoyment and studies. However I personally like the infrastructure
I'm studying in MBA 1st year the quality of teaching very good and i learning many extra skills like technology management, Career guidance and so on it helpful for landing good job.The curriculum is well updated and they make us feel job ready
100% placement offers given by our college highest salary package upto 10 lpa average salary package upto 6 lpa. All students except entrepreneurs have been placed till now . Mostly tier I and tier II companies are coming to hire
Our college campus it's best, supportive teachers and staff. It's very safe. The exact location is kurumbapalyam (Village nagar stop ).Here I personally feel they are considering the words of the students and make them to do their willingness activities with guidance of the faculties
The campus of Goel Institute is decent for MBA studies. Classrooms are proper, the library has useful management books, and computer labs are available. The environment is clean and comfortable for regular classes.
MBA academics at GITM are okay. Teachers are helpful and explain topics clearly. Subjects are taught as per syllabus, but students need extra effort, presentations, and self-learning to understand practical management concepts
Placements for MBA students are average. A few companies come mainly for sales and HR roles. Getting placed depends a lot on communication skills, confidence, and individual preparation rather than college support alone.
Campus life is simple and disciplined. Seminars, group discussions, and cultural events are organized sometimes. The atmosphere is friendly, teachers are approachable, and the campus is safe for students.
My experience in the MBA program at Goel Institute has been satisfactory. The college provides basic management education, but students must work on practical exposure and soft skills to get better career opportunities.
The campus infrastructure honestly feels well thought-out and mostly student-friendly. Classrooms are spacious with proper ventilation, smart boards, and comfortable seating that actually make long lectures bearable. The library is one of the strongest points—quiet, resource-rich, and rarely overcrowded, perfect for both exam prep and casual reading.
Academics here feel structured but not suffocating. Most professors know their subjects well and explain concepts with real-life examples, not just textbook lines. Classes are regular, the syllabus usually finishes on time, and doubt-solving sessions actually help before exams. Internal assessments are fair, though sometimes a bit repetitive. If you attend lectures seriously and do self-study, scoring well isn’t difficult. It’s not an overly competitive academic environment, but it gives you a strong base if you’re genuinely willing to learn.
Placements here feel reliable rather than flashy. Most companies visiting are decent, with a good mix of mass recruiters and a few core firms. The placement cell is active and keeps students informed, though you still need to put in personal effort—nothing is spoon-fed. Average packages are fair for the college’s level, and if you have strong skills, chances of landing a better offer are real. Overall, placements give confidence and security, even if they don’t promise dream packages to everyone.
Campus life here feels alive without being overwhelming. The campus is clean, green, and active, with enough space to breathe between classes. Friendships form easily—mostly in the canteen, library corners, and during random cultural events. There are regular fests, club activities, and sports meets that keep things interesting, though not every event is perfectly managed. Facilities are good overall: classrooms are decent, Wi-Fi works most days, and common areas stay lively till evening.
The college infrastructure is decent but clearly average. Classrooms are usable, though some benches, boards, and projectors feel outdated. The campus buildings look okay from outside, but inside maintenance is inconsistent. The library has enough seating and basic resources, yet lacks modern study spaces and updated books. Labs function well for routine practicals, but advanced equipment is limited. Wi-Fi exists, though speed and coverage vary across the campus.
Academics here are decent, not disappointing. The syllabus is mostly followed, and a few teachers genuinely explain concepts instead of just reading slides. Some classes feel engaging and useful, especially before exams. However, consistency is the issue. A few faculty members lack depth, and self-study becomes necessary to truly understand subjects.
Placements here are decent but not outstanding. A few good companies do visit every year, mostly offering average packages. The placement cell tries, but opportunities are limited and competition is high. Top students with strong skills get placed, while others often rely on off-campus efforts. Training sessions happen, though they feel basic. Overall, placements are okay for starters, but don’t expect miracles without self-effort.
Campus life here is decent but not exciting. The campus has basic facilities, enough space to hang out, and a few good spots to relax between classes. There are occasional events and festivals, but they feel more like routine formalities than real celebrations Friends make the campus livable—without them, it would feel quite dull. Canteen food is average, seating areas are limited, and after a point, there’s nothing new to explore. It’s not bad, not greatjust functional.
Infrastructure is very fascinating.. I belong to School of Business Management and it's classrooms are quite huge and spacious. Properly ventilated along with AC classrooms. The living spaces are clean
I am pursuing B.com Honours and the quality of teaching and teachers are very professional and knowledgeable. Also the curriculum is updated and it includes all the recent developments in fields, and it is also up to the scheme.
The quality is fine like number of universities visit there for placements. Highest LPA of b.com was 6 to 7 lakhs in last batch. The placement process was easy and pleasant also the college is cooperative regarding it

Academics in a college focus on providing quality education through a well-structured curriculum and effective teaching methods. The college follows a planned academic schedule that includes lectures, practical sessions, assignments, and examinations. Experienced and qualified faculty guide students using interactive teaching methods, smart classrooms, and regular assessments. The academic system also encourages seminars, workshops, projects, and internships to improve practical knowledge.
students’ careers by providing job opportunities after graduation. The college has a dedicated Placement and Training Cell that coordinates with reputed companies. Students are trained in technical skills, communication skills, aptitude, and interview techniques through regular training programs. Mock interviews, group discussions, and resume-building sessions are conducted to prepare students for recruitment.
College infrastructure is very good i am satisfied by it. We have football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court. Which is good for sports persons. The campus has its own boys and girls gym.
To be true its average or above average some of the faculty members are outstanding and some of them are average. But we can learn from everyone its on us we cannot find all goodies. And some faculty support students to grow.
Placement is average i have seen 50 to 60 mba students which are my seniors are placed and the average placement is about 6 to 7 lpa. And due to the small batch size the chances of geeting placed are higher.
