The Scholars College of Education, Patna, is a co-educational institute for training future teachers. The College is affiliated to Bagha Kol Chowk, Patna, and recognized as a teacher education institution by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed. at Scholars College of Education is a regular two-year course course for the preparation of graduate teachers to instruct at secondary and higher secondary schools. The B.Ed. admission process consists of the following steps:

1. Candidates must be graduates from a recognized University.
2. Admission is based on merit, that is, based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (degree).
3. Entrance examination may be conducted on state government policy for the appeared candidates.
4. Final selection will be based on a performance index combined from the qualifying examination and the entrance test.
5. The approved intake for the B.Ed. course is 100 students.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): D.El.Ed. is of a two-year course whose focus is to produce teachers for the primary and upper primary levels. The admission procedure for the D.El.Ed. course comprises:

1. 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board must have been completed by the candidates.
2. Admission is based on merit, considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2).
3. Entrance tests may be needed as per the regulations prescribed by the State Government or UT Administration.
4. The final selection is made based on performance in both the qualifying exam and entrance test.
5. The college has an approved intake of 50 students for the D.El.Ed. program.
