Sishu Bikash College of Education, which is recognized as a renowned teacher training college situated in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The college has two firsthand courses: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), which are honored by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). The admission process for B.Ed is merit-based, depending upon the performance of the candidate in his or her qualifying examinations. The college has also received an intake approval for 100 candidates for this study program. In general, the eligibility criteria require a student to hold a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed program is also a two-year full-time course run by the college. Such merit-based entry into D.El.Ed takes account of marks obtained in a qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The approved intake for D.El.Ed is 50 students. Specified eligibility criteria and selection processes may be subject to the policies set by the state government or UT administration.
