Makhanlal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Patrakarita Avam Sanchar Vishwavidyalaya conducts the MCRPV 2024 entrance exam for various UG and PG courses on media and communications such as aster of Journalism, MCA, M.Sc. in Information and Cyber Security, M.Sc. in Media Research, M.Sc. in Film Production, M.A. in Advertising and Public Relations, M.A. Mass Communications, M.A. in New Media Content Design, BCA, Bachelor of Mass Communications, B.Sc. in Multimedia, B.Sc. in Graphics and Animation, B.Sc. in Electronic Media, and so on.

As per the latest news, the authority has released the MCRPV 2024 application form on the official website on April 23. Eligible aspirants can fill out the MCRPV 2024 registration form till May 31. Students who will register for the exam within the provided time frame will be issued the MCRPV 2024 admit card.  To download the hall tickets of MCRPV 2024, students will be required to enter their login credentials.

MCRPV 2024 will be held for 90 minutes to assess the aptitude level, competence in the language, creativity and reasoning abilities of the candidates. For admission to courses such as M.Sc. in Cloud Computing, Information, Big Data Analytics, MCA, and Cyber Security, the candidate's logical and numerical aptitude and knowledge of computers will also be put to the test. The result of MCRPV 2024 will be announced on the official website mentioning the names of the candidates who have qualified for the test. Through MCRPV 2024, a total of 715 seats will be offered.

• To be eligible for M.Sc. in Information and Cyber Security, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a basic awareness of computers. However, those graduates with no knowledge of computers are also eligible for the course, provided they pass a bridge course conducted by the university.
• For M.Sc. in Media Research, Electronic Media, New Media, and Film Production, candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

MCRPV Entrance Exam M.C.A. Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must have completed their graduation with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class 10+2 level or graduate level. The bachelor’s degree should be of minimum three years.
• The minimum aggregate which candidates should have scored at the graduate level is 50% (in case of General category candidates) and 45% (in case of SC/ST candidates).

How to Fill MCRPV Entrance Exam Application Form 2024

• Visit the official website and click on the official application form link. Candidates can apply for admission to multiple programmes from the same group or as many subjects as they want across different groups. To apply for each course, applicants have to fill out a separate MCRPV 2023 application form.
• During the application process, applicants have to enter their personal details, and academic qualifications and select the course they are applying for. They will also need to upload their signature and passport-size photograph in either .jpg or. gif format in the image/sign upload section of the application form.
• After filling out the application form, candidates are advised to review the form thoroughly to see if all the details in the form are correct or not. They can make any needed corrections and then click on the 'Submit' tab.
• Candidates will receive an application number and they should keep it safe till the admission process is over.
• Now, candidates have to pay the application fee in online mode via net banking/ATM cum debit card/Credit card/ nearest MP online kiosks.
• Click on the 'proceed with payments'/'payment' and then choose the preferred payment option. For General category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 300 plus Rs. 50 as portal charges. Candidates of SC/ST category do not have to pay any application fees; however, they are charged the portal fee, that is Rs 50.
• After making the payment, download and print the payment slip generated by the university which contains all the details related to the candidate's application.
• If a candidate wants to apply for more than one course from the same group, he/she can do so by clicking on 'apply for additional course' button. Using the application form number generated after the candidate submitted their first application form, he/she can fill the subsequent application forms. If a candidate wants to apply for another course/courses across different groups, he/she have to start with the application process anew.
• The fee to be remitted for separate application forms Rs. 200 plus the aforementioned portal charges for each additional course. SC/ST candidates do not have to pay any additional fee for multiple applications; however, they have to pay the portal charges for each course.
