For pursuing a MD in Cardiology you need a MBBS Degree.

After BSc you do the 4 and 1/2 year MBBS course.

Then the one year mandated internship.

After that, you should do M.D. General (Internal) Medicine. It is only after that you can become a cardiologist, by doing a 2 year D.M. Cardiology or MNAMS - Dip.N.B. Cardiology.
