Can I B.tech graduate, persue M. Sc. in economics from IITR through IIT JAM?

Dear aspirant,

Many Bcom students opt maths as a 4th or optional subject. Or some totally replace it with other subjects like eco history or any other subjects available for swapping. Thus the core mentions that maths must be a primary subject throughout all the demisters or untill university has it available for your course as core subject.

So I have completed my B.tech in ECE with 2 math courses in the first and second semester. Does it count as a core subject? Am I eligible for M.sc in economics from IITR through IIT JAM?

Yes that counts as all Btech courses have math till sem 4.
