Hello Kamlesh,

You can't take direct admission in any NIT. NIT Silchar is a government college and you can take admission in this college through JEE Mains only. You need to qualify JEE Mains cutoff with 75% aggregate in your boards' exam to be eligible for JEE Mains counseling. Moreover, there is no management quota seat in any NIT.

I hope this helps. Thank you

Hello Kamlesh,

You cannot take admission to this institute via management quota as it's public institute and thus this institute do not offers management quota seats for direct admission.

However, don't be upset as it's more important that how well you study than where you study.

Also many private institutes conduct their admission process based on score of JEE main I would recommend you to first try for them via CAP rounds as management quota seats doesn't offers benefits offered through CAP seats such as reservations and fees exptions for PWD, ST, SC, OBC and defense quota candidates.

And still if you won't get the desired institute then there are two options:

1) Go for the institutes that conduct their own entrance for admission process.

2) Apply for 30 percent management quota seats in private colleges.

Among these two first option will be good as many times institutes demand huge donations for management quota seats and they have all the authorities to fill those seats.

Hope this helps.

All the Best.
