Hello,

The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur takes admission on the basis of the marks obtained in the JEE Advanced exam. The merit list is released for the students to analyze their corresponding branches they can take admission into. Wbjee exam is only for the state level colleges. Jadavpur university, Calcutta University, Techno India institutes, etc take admission on the basis of WBJEE scores.

Hi Aniket,

The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur is probably the most reputed branch of IIT in India. At the undergraduate level, in the field of Engineering, it offers a B.Tech. program, an integrated B.Tech + M.Tech. program and an integrated b.Tech. + MBA program. Unfortunately, like every other IIT, it only takes admissions on the basis of the JEE-Advanced examination.

Aniket karmakar Many colleges consider JEE-Mains scores. The best of them are probably the NITs, IIITs and the GFITs.
