Dear Lavanya, your 10+2 marks come handy when you have to qualify either for NEET or CET. For example, for being eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology. it is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for SC,ST,OBC. This aggregate requirement stops here. They are not considered for any purpose after that. It is the same with Pondicherry CET as well. Once you are eligiblie for NEET or CET based on your 10+2, the rest is dependant on how well you perform in the Entrance Examination, your category and cut off marks.
