The harsh reality is that even a 100 percentile can gurantee you a seat as there is considerable weightage in GD/PI/WAT and academic background +work experience. Yes but you are likely to ge through unless you perform exxeptionally bad in the subsequent rounds.

If you get a 100 percentile in CAT exam then not only from FMS, IIM C but you will also get calls from all other IIMs including top IIMs like IIM A and B.

Earlier with 100 percentile FMS seat used to be guaranteed when 85% weightage used to be given to CAT marks but now criteria have been changed and CAt marks weightage is only 60% so even after getting 100 percentile you will need to perform in a decent way in the second round of GD, extempore and interview.

Same will be the case in IIM A, B and C wherein the final list CAT marks have weightage of 40-50% but without a decent performance in the second round of WAT and PI, there is no surety of getting admission as WAT-PI both share a high weightage in the final merit list.

Still, with 100 percentile you will have an upper edge in all the colleges because in almost all the colleges even in the final list CAT marks have the highest weightage.
